malmö's DENG DENG HIFI had invited sthlms TESFA SOUND to a roots and culture dub meeting.
a bit of wind and rain was happening this evening but we felt happy to be in THE falafel town in sweden...where you get your falafel in rolls filled with greek sallad and hot sauce...
the BASSment lies in an industrial estate but is easy and near to reach from almost everywhere in malmö. and also an easy reach from copenhagen,denmark.
both sounds had some difficulties with their sound but they sounded great to me.
i'm really impressed by the sound tesfa got at the moment.and what a selection..
from 22-don't remember the time..5-6?....we heard some very good roots and culture music,both live and digital style,both older tunes and recent releases.
saw some nice people there,cultivator sound,alex tribulation,lion youth and also heard iyah one was there ut didn't see him.
no soundtape was made of this session and that's a pity but i managed to take some short movies with my camera.
